ok sorry, but mind explaining what that means? I was reading up on the primaries for AOC and her opponent was said to have a good chance, and then she swept anyway. so I just assumed that NYC goes democrat no matter what.
Trump said at his rally tonight that he thinks he can take New York, and that he's stepping up campaign efforts there. He mentioned that just a small area, New York city, is super blue. The rest is sick of their shit. So if he gets enough votes from everyone outside New York City, he could take the state.
You never know. I can't imagine anyone loving the way NY is currently headed. Might be more surprise red voters than you think. It can't hurt to try. Every vote matters.
I don't know anyone who likes deblasio. when the pandemic first hit, I wanted to get a rifle for my home. found out, it's basically impossible to do in NYC (which I don't quite understand how they are allowed to do that to the 2A). and then, on top of that, he also decided to take money from the police. so not only can I not defend my home, but the police can't either now.
I hear that. Well, you vote, if nothing changes, you lost nothing. If things go to hell, you (I hope) can leave for a better city. Gotta have faith though. A little. Good luck dude.
Local elections and more popular vote is still helpful. Just vote, there’s no reason not to. Every vote helps. Try looking into local politicians. Some of them can affect your life more than federal stuff. You might have a referendum to vote for too, it depends on state/town or city.
I hear ya. I live in Washington State. Being a patriot calls you to participate in your elections. Its the American way. Teach your friends, family, and progeny of how to participate in local, state, and federal elections. If everyone red did, it would have a sway on future elections.
Same goes for some third party. Its gotta start somewhere.
New York is in play. Vote.

that would be something! let's hope for the best. I edited my main post with an update. thanks for the clarification!
Help us win the popular vote so the liberals have no excuses. Also you can make a difference in local elections

It’s your civic duty now.
well, I cannot argue against that!
NY is in play
If you do nothing, nothing will change. All votes matter.
Seriously? It will ALWAYS be blue if everyone who isn’t blue thinks that way and doesn’t vote.
Also, you’re not voting for NYC, you’re voting for the state. There’s a lot of others in other parts of your state that need that vote.
Besides, uncounted thousands of Americans died to give you the right to vote. Think of it as an obligation.

Votes are data. Every vote skewes the AI the media uses
Totally worth it.
Everyone I know is voting red in nyc ...
That kind of attitude is why states stay blue.
It's your duty as a citizen.
