Ewww. Well first off, I’m going to question the parameters of this test. Because I see a bunch of people (especially on Facebook) claim they are microbiologists conducting this type of test and never show any form of control.

1. is the environment the test is conducted in clean/sterile?
2. if the guy were to breathe directly onto the Petri dish for twenty minutes, what would the results be?
3. how do I know he didn’t have faulty Petri dishes/he stored them in the recommended manufacturer setting?
4. what was the masks bacteria results before breathing on to it?
5. lastly, this looks like a yeast and mold plate. I don’t really see bacterial colonies.

I am tempted to recreate this test... but for Total plate count and yeast&mold.
