In the Midwest it's mostly middle aged overweight Karen's and a few SJW hambeasts. They're clearly there for 'diversity' without displacing an actual productive male from an important position.
Anytime I've dealt with them, they've been pointless. And now diversity inclusion HR. No thanks.

Their there to protect against lawsuits. But from a 30,000 foot view, they are a drain on profit. If it was so self-evident as to why we need HR, they would not have to spend all their time CORP-splaining to us why we need them.

The people in my HR department are great. But I acknowledge I’m probably in the minority. (Last company’s HR was filled with spiteful people.)
Fuck that ... Not just the US ... all countries which want to deal with the US.
