Where is your proof that this is happening? because I've never heard that before and find it highly unlikely... That's simply not the way phone calls work when you're talking about billions of them per day, in thousands and thousands of different accents, languages, and nuances in speech patterns...
now I can see it being done in text messages or something like that, the way they're censoring this website on T-Mobile phones, but it sure as hell isn't happening over a regular phone call.....
Spreading fake news makes us no better than the left
Edit - or are you just trying to compare the two as "if" it happened?... Well in that case you're comparing battleships to grapefruits, so there really isn't a comparison between online fact checking and what you're talking about. A private group chat on Instagram is a whole hell of a lot different than a two-person private phone call that you both pay for.....
I am not saying phone companies censor phone calls. They do not. They are not legally allowed to. I'm comparing the censoring of private communications on social media to the censoring of private communications on the phone network. One is legal. One is not. One is rampant. One doesn't happen at all.

Perhaps this needs to change.
I would think so, but I'm not aware of this happening.
