Dumped Costco the minute the mask mandate started, let them know EXACTLY why on their membership renewal form. We don't need to pay a premium to be treated like a disease, Democrats will do that for free!

44
Daffy 44 points ago +44 / -0

I just walk by and say "medical exemption" then do my shopping, I love the looks i get from all the sheep wearing masks as my entire family of 5 walk through the store with no masks.

23
sleepinggiant 23 points ago +24 / -1

I just say no. Laws havent changed continued requests are harassment and touching is assault. All they can do is call the cops. Cops arent responding to a mask call in any place but small town.

19
Rayeti 19 points ago +19 / -0

Since Costco is a members only place they can revoke your membership and trespass you, but that’s it. Keep in mind their HQ is liberal and if you tried this on the coasts maybe they’d do this, but there’s probably some pretty based managers at Costco in middle America.

6
Choomguy 6 points ago +6 / -0

Theres one flaming homo at my costco that is a mask nazi. They are pretty hard core about masks there, and im sure its because of him.

Thats the only place i wear one, because theres too many good things about costco. Ill just fuck them over another way, like returning stuff just to get a new one.

5
PepisMaximus 5 points ago +6 / -1

You should just claim a medical exemption. Its literally illegal for them to ask what medical exemption you have.

3
Lonnyzone 3 points ago +3 / -0

"I can't wear a mask due to a medical condition that affects my breathing."

--- What is it?

"COVID"

2
Choomguy 2 points ago +2 / -0

Will try it!

4
IqwensuOrja 4 points ago +4 / -0

I think they don’t have a right to do it because if you are a paying member, you have rights and privileges, and I don’t think a mask mandate is stipulated in the contract. But I haven’t looked into it directly, was told it by a good buddy

6
Nancypelosisoldliver 6 points ago +6 / -0

The fact cops even show up to escort mask wearer's out while people get robbed and murdered is beyond me. If I was chief and I figured out that was happening under my command, I'd be pissed the likes of which they have never witnessed before

Its funny how the police in many places will even show up to a call like that while police elsewhere dont even show up at all because they dont want to be killed by BLM.

I dont think any police in my area do that God bless, but I see it happening and im sure they see it happening too. Sad! Police are just as likely to be effected by good and evil as every other man.

First, they need to know what they did wrong. If they don't know, they're going to keep pulling the same bullshit. Just like how the NFL and NBA don't correlate their bad ratings to the racist slogans all over the field and court

17
crash7863 17 points ago +17 / -0

They know darn well that the BLM crap led to low ratings. For some reason they're willing to take decreased income. I'm curious if the owners are getting an alternative revenue stream in order for their teams to be used as political talking points.

14
Bubbahax 14 points ago +14 / -0

The commissioner of the NFL said he didn't mind that they were losing fans. He said they'd find new fans. Liberals live in a fantasy world.

8
crash7863 8 points ago +8 / -0

They're not winning new fans. They're bleeding money. So the owners are either happy to take the loss or they're being paid to have their players become mouth pieces for the bizarre left.

3
magabigleague2 3 points ago +3 / -0

Owners are billionaires, they don't care.

27
AuPhalanx 27 points ago +28 / -1

Yes, this disappointed me. Sad!

26
Mexicola1976 26 points ago +28 / -2

It seems like a small business- they probably didn't want to be the target of rioting. There's pretty much zero help for smaller businesses that have been burned and looted.

38
Chick-fill-eh 38 points ago +39 / -1

Shouldn't have said anything at all if they want to be ignored.

Should have stuck to their guns if they wanted to be supported by patriots.

Instead they poked a hornets nest and said they didn't mean it.

61
Chick-fill-eh 61 points ago +61 / -0

Cheese company calls blm terrorists, then cucks out and walks it back. Costco dropped them.

19
skrowl 19 points ago +19 / -0

The owner called them terrorists on his personal social media.

The company had no official position / announcement / other PR.

They're trying to cancel the company for the owner having an opinion.

11
Chick-fill-eh 11 points ago +11 / -0

Yes, that's how that works.

This is like saying zuckerberg's opinion doesn't apply to Facebook.

1
grndmrshlgando 1 point ago +1 / -0

why would they do this? using social media at all outside of advertising or just talking friends and family is like nailing your ballsack to the ceiling. it does you absolutely no favors and only results in pain

10

They've always been leftarded. The founding CEO was a leftard.

The stores in Seattle often had birds hanging out in the roof trusses that had flown in and gotten trapped. They'd tear up the bags of bread to get food. I offered to go in with a pellet gun at night and take care of the problem. The REEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!!!!!ing was quite astonishing to me.

https://thedonald.win/p/HXohiWG4/palmetto-cheese-owner-calls-blac/c/

The guy caved like a little bitch. Read the article!!

7
Mexicola1976 7 points ago +11 / -4

It's not caving if the local/state government won't help you if your business is looted and burned. It's easy to call someone a cuck if you aren't in his position. Do you think he actually changed his mind?

5
RabidZoo 5 points ago +9 / -4

First off his shit isn't burned OR looted...

You're right...it's easy to call someone a "cuck" if you're not in their shoes...BUT WHAT IF YOU HAVE CONCRETE, IRREFUTABLE EVIDENCE? Whether he changed his mind is irrelevant...he caved. If he didn't truly believe he shouldn't have said it. If he did mean it he should have stood by it. We won't get anywhere with wishy-washy stances.

According to The Sun News of Myrtle Beach, Henry apologized at a news conference and called his comments “hurtful and insensitive.” He also asked people calling for a boycott of Palmetto to reconsider.

“There is a concerted effort to boycott Palmetto cheese,” Henry said. “Please consider the hundreds of South Carolina jobs that depend on its success. We humbly ask for your support.”

The Palmetto Cheese website, www.pimentocheese.com, says it is the top-selling pimento cheese in the U.S. and sold at 9,100-plus stores in 44 states and Washington, D.C. The website also talks about how the company is "evolving and listening to its community."

The brand has begun rebranding to remove the image of Vertrella Brown, a Black cook who popularized the product, from the packaging.

"We understand action is necessary to embrace change within our organization and we are committed to making an impact internally and within the community," a statement on the website says.

Palmetto Cheese isn't the first to begin a rebranding effort in recent months amid Black Lives Matter protests after the death of George Floyd. Aunt Jemima, Uncle Ben's, Cream of Wheat, Mrs. Butterworth's and the makers of Eskimo Pie have announced plans to rebrand away from names that are rooted in a more racially divided era of America's history.

"A man convinced against his will, is of the same opinion still."

What I see is a guy who did whatever he had to do to keep his business from being financially destroyed by the woke mob. He's a victim. Not a hero by any means, nobody's claiming that.

So don't blame the victim, blame the bad guys - the woke mob.

4
RabidZoo 4 points ago +7 / -3

What I see is a guy who did whatever he had to do to keep his business from being financially destroyed by the woke mob. He's a victim. Not a hero by any means, nobody's claiming that.

He's only a victim of his own decision-making in the first place! Don't take a public stance on something to just turn around and bow in the face of pressure. It doesn't matter what he "believes"...what matters is having a fucking backbone. I'm not going to feel sorry for this guy. The Goya guy didn't cave. He made a statement and stood by it.

3
SisterCovfefe 3 points ago +3 / -0

Good point. People who like pimento cheese are going to buy it regardless, imo. It's easy enough to make at home but not as easy as buying a good quality product.

5
OhLollyLollyPop 5 points ago +5 / -0

Most people don't care about this bs. If you make a public political statement, either be the Goya guy and stick with it, or stfu in the first place.

1
dahdahdah_dahditdah 1 point ago +3 / -2

You don't have hundreds if not thousands of employees you will have to send back to their families without a job. I get that you want to poke him with a stick and say "C'mon, criticize BLM again!" But as entertaining as that would be for us, and as just and right it would be cosmically, it's a battle he doesn't have to fight, and has nothing to do with selling pimento cheese spread. His best hope is that others will fight the battle and expose BLM as a terrorist organization, so that he is free to speak again without harming his employees.

0
RabidZoo 0 points ago +3 / -3

I don't have nearly that many people to worry about and I'm not on social media where I can be easily identified stirring the pot. Maybe he should have thought about that before posting that in the first place. There are plenty of people talking shit about BLM openly...why did he feel the need to put his employees at risk with his own statements? I'm not going to feel bad for him. And I'm certainly not going to buy that product. It's called taking a stand for a reason.

2
dahdahdah_dahditdah 2 points ago +4 / -2

Everything you are saying is true. Just make sure you blame the mob first rather than their victims.

The maximum annual benefit from the Executive membership cash rebate is $1000. According to the link provided you had to spend $50,040 at Costco. https://www.costco.com/executive-rewards.html

2
xopi 2 points ago +3 / -1

Which isn't that difficult if you own a restaurant and do a lot of shopping at Costco.

Also an Executive member here. . Also have the Citi-card VISA Same as you.

I'm referring to COSTCO only. The maximum cashback is still $1000 on purchases and traav3el ben43fits.

FACT You receive two checks per year one from Citi and the other from Costco.

FACT: FYI - Citibank doesn't cancel your credit card when you drop Costco membership - only the extra 1% for Costco purchases is tacked on. everything else remains the same.

FACT: Citi has a new Double cash back card that pays 2% back on all purchases made anywhere. 1% on purchase and the remaining 1% when you pay it back. I don't need COSTCO. No annual fee.

6
Soferio 6 points ago +6 / -0

Don't forget to refund your membership when you cancel. You can return any Costco item even the membership.

6
cctrumpette 6 points ago +7 / -1

We're not shopping at any of the big box stores. No Walmart, Sams, Home Depot, Costco, etc. If these pukes have millions to donate to BLM, they certainly don't need our business. We're shopping at independent, locally owned stores only. And if they don't have what we need, we're going without. Main Street over Wall Street.

5
570dbp 5 points ago +5 / -0

HD CEO is pro-Trump.

1
cctrumpette 1 point ago +1 / -0

And they donated 1 million to some far left civil rights lawyers association who works with BLM. So hard pass on Home Depot.

1
570dbp 1 point ago +1 / -0

The problem is the people below always try to do the opposite to sabotage the guy at the top. Some companies may have based CEOs, but their woke HR people want to virtual signal. Trump issued the critical race theory ban EO, but I will bet some government agencies and companies doing business with the government will just ignore it. The problem is the lack of enforcement. If they get hit in the pocketbook, then they will stop doing it. Diversity and Inclusion is the popular theme nowadays. Everybody is afraid to be accused of being a racist.

4
Vuny98 4 points ago +6 / -2

Costco is a good company, pays its employees very well. Yes they fall into the same woke BS as others, but that is literally every company these days. I get the desire to boycott, but if I did that for every company that pushes some of this leftist crap, I would not have a phone to use, wouldn't be able to watch TV, couldn't listen to music, couldn't go to most stores, couldn't go to a lot of restaurants. My advice, pick the ones that are most offensive to you personally. If Costco falls into that category because of how they handled this situation, then that's your call. But just know, the replacement you choose may be just as bad if not worse (i.e. swapping Apple for Microsoft).

As a single man with no kids I don't use Costco. However if I were you, I'd make sure I have a month worth of food, water, supplies, etc. for when shit hits the fan in November and then dump Costco. I have been tempted to get a membership for a month just to stock up but I've managed pretty well without Costco and have not done a cost benefit analysis. I think we have an obligation to vote with our wallets and I try to. In fact, there are some things on Netflix I am really excited about upcoming and I dumped them anyway two weeks ago.

2
HuggableBear 2 points ago +2 / -0

Dump nearly any global or even national corporation. Anything you might need can be found in your town, you may just have to drive a little ways and pay a little more.

If you're not willing to do those things in order to support small businesses owned and run by your neighbors, you don't get to pretend to be a hardcore patriot, you're just one when it's convenient.

2
duallyford 2 points ago +2 / -0

Costco just "canceled" this business because of "political correctness".

Raise your fist and repeat after me: Black lives matter... or we will put you out of business.

Now buy some of our new 'Burn and Loot' brand pimento cheese, it is smokey and fiery hot.

I think you guys are jumping to conclusions here.

He specifically stated that Costco adds and drops their products consistently throughout the year, and with Costco making no comment on the matter, we should assume that it's business as usual until shown otherwise.

The mob is forever harassing and trying to cancel people and companies all over the country, so if one actually DOES get cancelled or fired or "removed", they probably aren't too far away from a made up "scandal"... Correlation does not imply causation.

Innocent until proven guilty and all that. In my opinion.

1
MyDogCompletesMe 1 point ago +1 / -0

We still use Costco, but now that the "pandemic" is over, they are less vital. I suggest, if you still like them, start going to Sam's Club, if you have one in your area, as we do. There's a lot of similar deals at Sam's Club (owned by Walmart), and sometimes products switch back and forth between the two.

Certainly, if many conservatives all at once stopped buying, say cheese, in response to this ban, that might send them a message.

In spite of this one discontinuation, they still offer a good product, which helps economically provide for our family of 5. If they keep pressing their luck, even the wife might agree that we can end our membership, but they haven't met her threshold yet.

Note - We spam-buy Goia products and haven't bought a Gillette product in years. We dumped our Cable along with Netflix over 5 years ago, and I donated $100 to Kyle Rittenhouse's legal fund last month. We're not just casual Trump supporters, we are Epic Trump supporters. There are more firearms in our household than masks....

Edit: Oh--and haven't watched ESPN/NFL/NBA since Kappernick was playing/kneeling and never watched MLB/Nascar anyway.

In my particular circumstance, I changed my shopping habits due to the faux flu lock down. Your mileage may vary but I am dropping down to a regular membership at the minimum next month. I also discovered that I end up tossing the seriously out of date food. I recently discovered some 10 year old corn and tomato sauce. LOL.
