2 nights before I ended things with my ex, we had an argument because I said to her over dinner that being gay isn't normal and they're such a small minority. She didn't like that. To fire her up even more, I said it's scientifically not normal and it never will be, just like fucking your dog. That got her so mad. This was when I knew my decision to break up with her in 2 days was going to be one of the best of my life.

Now, 3 months on, I'm getting sneaky videos sent to me from friends of her telling random juiced up dudes she's just met on a night out (and probably about to have really shitty meaningless sex with) about how I compared being gay to fucking your dog right before breaking up with her. You could say I'm winning on every front here.

No, it doesn't. Animals don't have the capacity to even understand sexuality. They aren't gay or straight or anything at all. They're animals. They procreate, they fuck to show dominance, and sometimes they just fuck things because they're stupid animals. Saying your dog is gay because it mounted another male is like saying its interspecies because it humped your leg. This is both wrong and incredibly stupid. Animals are just stupid animals, no matter how much you want to attribute humanlike characteristics to them. They don't even have concepts for the ideas.

If only biologists who actually understand all these permutations of the word 'sexuality' hadn't said this, oh wait they did. Animals experience sexual attraction and they often partner with other animals. There is sexual desire and long term partnership between animals of the same sex in dozens of species. This isn't hard to Google, and you're not more educated than biologists who have studied it and come to these conclusions.
