Just needed to vent a little here. We’re at an incredible new stage in society. I never thought I’d be ridiculed for wanting to keep and defend my constitutional rights. Even “friends” online mock me for my stances on things relating to the Covid shutdown, saying things like “bUt mUh RiGhTs” — what the hell is wrong with people? Where are we as a society now, that we make fun of people for wanting to maintain their rights? It’s sad to see people so eager to drink the koolaid and immediately toss away what the constitution allows them at the request of the government.

Public school system. That is what happened

It's more the media. School is full of soft headed teachers who can't make it anywhere else. They watch TV and get their marching orders.

The truth probably lies somewhere in between. I think its a combination of both. There really needs to be sweeping legislation against these harmful "news anchors"

The media gives them cover and justification to enact these anti-american policies. There used to be a 50/50 rule for media, can't remember the name.

You just wrote the condensed version of human history. Humans are generally stupid, moreso these days.

wish I could upvote a hundred.

In a time of universal deceit, telling the truth becomes revolutionary, George Orwell (from memory, albeit old and fading)

You, We, are on the right side of history (pun intended). If you think that this is weird, the next 12 months will be Awsome Weird, but in a positive way.

Your friends will be lost sheep, asking you to explain WTF just happened.

it is a weird, weird time. I just had a normal conversation with a normal person who was worried about Bill Gates microchipping him. neither one of us even blinked at the conversation.

I'm wondering if the abomination of desolation has happened yet...

Well put. Yeah there’s some contributing factors that are more obvious but at its core I share your confusion. Part of me wonders if a lot of it is due to a weird collective societal psychic breakdown because of the never ending lockdowns, us essentially being subjected to tyrannical rule, and the news blasting people out of their minds with covid fear. But yeah, right on. A very scary and anxiety producing time. I don’t know that I’ll ever look at people the same again. The masks are off (so to speak). Daily life has been very unpleasant for a long time. For whatever it’s worth, I definitely share your confusion and frustration.

you will notice, They only talk about Rights when Republicans are in Charge. The Day Trump one they were screaming that they lost their Rights.

It's quite simple really. Military grade psychological warfare has been waged on the American public at least ever since the CIA was created. I highly recommend looking into history around this and later years, it's fascinating. We see seeing the culmination of this now where many people are hopelessly brainwashed. It's a great time to stock up on food, ammo and to move rural.
