100%. Unless its planning to get elevated on a building or tower in Portland that optic is going to suck fast moving around in a CQB urban conflict. It would really suck in a hallway of a house. Maybe it thinks people will park in the street and approach the home frontal... Too many dumb LARP scenarios in their heads.
What ya going to do with it? At 25 yds, shooting squirrels, you will want some magnification. Shooting steel or paper targets at under ten yards will be fine for red dot. I don't imagine you are planning to defend your home with a .22lr, but that is where a red dot excels. A human sized target at 5 to 50 yds is when a red dot is plenty. A scope is for when you can calmly take a precise shot.
I would put a scope on it. You can get 1-4x scopes. 3-9x are generally pretty cheap. 3x is pretty quick to aim and 9x gives pretty good range and precision.
I like how the scope is huge. unless you are knocking targets from 600 meters you dont need the scope...lady?
It’s ma’am!!!!!
Looks like an LPVO which is essentially a red dot with 0-6,8,10x magnification. But no sling so this dude is larping

I have one on my little home defense pistol.
you can hit at 600 with a red dot as well, just dim it down
