Pantifa/BLM tried to gather in a city near me several months ago. I contacted a friend who is a sheriff deputy there and he said they and the police never had to do anything because citizens had coordinated and were driving the streets. Anytime they spotted suspicious cars they were surrounded and 'escorted' back out of town, many never being able to even park or exit their vehicles.
