I feel sorry for those owners who are hurting because of lost business, but do you really need to eat out that bad? People should make dinner dates at each other's houses and cook different meals for each other. It would be fun to try everyone's cooking and to try new recipes on your friends.
I can confirm this is a very fun thing to do. I used to do it with friends before the Rona hit. We all shared a kitchen and cooked a dish from scratch to share with everyone. We made Chili, ribs, mongolian dumplings, pasta, etc. Beats eating out any day of the week. Booze is way cheaper too!
