Oct. 12 for Judiciary, Oct. 29 for final passage. Judiciary will need a week or so and they need to make sure all these procedural tricks the Democrats try get sidestepped. Sounds about right.

September 29th seems like a better option. The Democrats get one day (Mon 28th) to scream and rant, before Snapping Turtle closes debate, then they vote on Tuesday Sep 29th. They've all had time to look at his nominees. Their objections will be manufactured. If Barrett is Trump's choice, she was grilled and reviewed in 2017.

Waiting until Oct 29 lets Democrats stay energized. Considering the quantity of mail in ballots, they need to have Trump's pick confirmed by the end of next week. Maybe President Trump can remind McConnell and the Senate that if their personal house was on fire, the fire department wouldn't wait a month to show up.

The math doesn't work for Sept. 29.

The nominee has to go through the Judiciary Committee, unless you hold the committee as a whole. That would be a complete shit show.

There are some procedural hurdles that require debate that won't let the vote go to the Senate right away. I think there's some sort of 48-hour or 72-hour rule before the vote can proceed.

The advantages to doing it this way is you have Kamala be all nasty to another woman in Judiciary for a week or so. She was such a see you next Tuesday during Kavenaugh and Gorsuch where it wasn't a pretty sight.
