Rosenbaum was lighting shit on fire. Dude in a green shirt in a hat puts it out thus enraging Rosenbaum and we see the "shoot me nigga" video.
Rosenbaum then continues to go about trying to set shit on fire. Rittenhouse is see running with a fire extinguisher in the same area, plausibly to put out the fires Rosenbaum was trying to set.
Rosenbaum mistakes Rittenhouse as "the guy in the green shirt" and loses it over him constantly having his fires put out. Rosenbaum goes after Rittenhouse.
Rittenhouse runs into the carlot while being chased. Guy previously seen in the "shoot me" video fires handgun causing Rittenhouse to turn and find Rosenbaum lunging at him. Rittenhouse fires and kills Rosenbaum as an act of defense.
Rittenhouse immediately circles back to check on Rosenbaum and immediately calls 911 saying he shot someone. People start congregating and Rittenhouse flees the converging mob.
Legally, this first incident is the most important one as the verdict here starts a domino effect that affects the second incident and whether he will be cleared overall.

I think the New York Times (yes, the commie NYT) pointed this out months ago. The only new footage for me was Rosenbaum lighting stuff on fire.
