We're keeping one of our daughters home due to a mild cough, and a sore throat. The school will send her home anyway if they hear her coughing. Fortunately the district is set up for remote learning, which admittedly is inferior, at least she can keep up on her school work. The requirement for returning to school is 24 hours symptom free. I'm not sure what I think about it. I know the district itself had to interpret the state guidelines, and develop it's own policies for this situation. I doubt there are a bunch of authoritarians in the school district itself, and they're probably acting with the best interests of the students at heart. I'm trying to leave the science out of it, which is misinterpreted, intentionally, or not, and look at it from the perspective of the district and the principal, who are being forced to do this by the state. I can't be mad at them, so we just do it, and I can think what I want about the state leaders and their intentions.

These are people desperately trying to make it seem like going back to school is dangerous or the wrong move.

(It isn't.)

covid 19 was never meant to kill people. It was meant to enslave them
