Many people refuse to spend more than $10,000 used for a vehicle on fiscal principle. Many people can only afford less than that. We can't all drop $80,000 for a Tesla or other prestige European EV. Not to mention how shitty the used EV market must be with the ticking time bomb of a battery that's only good for 5 years that costs the used value of the car to replace. I guess private motor vehicle ownership for the masses is a dream of the past.
