Hell, one of them completely rewrites a fuckton of code at my work that he deems inefficient. Dudes like a software engineer version of Rain Man.

You know, the dude absolutely baffles me. I’ve had conversations with him (I’m one of the few he talks to) and he just talks on a whole different level than I’ll ever comprehend. Whether it’s about something he built or an idea he has or some process he wants to improve - the guy is an absolute genius. I just smile and nod and think to myself,

Hey, I know some of those words!

Normally the types of ideas he has are something you’d just write off as too ambitious but damn this guy can deliver (and he does). He should be inventing shit like Elon Musk does, not getting underpaid to fix some idiots code.
