That's not constitutional. Will have too much of an impact on interstate commerce.

Lol, he knew it when he did it. Like it's gonna fly on a 6-3 majority court

Politicians know half the shit they say or do is unconstitutional, but they do it anyway so they can virtue signal.

The problem with this is that California ends up setting the standard for cars just because of the size of the state. That's why every car has "California emissions". They're going to fuck all of us with their regulations.

Honestly, with the recent approval of small modular reactors and the rapid development of solid state lithium ion batteries most cars by them may be electric. I have no issue with it if it’s more efficient and powerful. My only concern is they will be all β€œ no nukes” and end up making even more liberals flee their stupid state

You're being very optimistic about California's ability to manage new power sources. They're fucking dysfunctional and the amount of electricity required to replace gas for passenger transportation is enormous. This is a socialist style managed economy move that is guaranteed to create untold damage.

How many electric cars will die in traffic jams?

Newsom can mandate Pink Unicorns for everyone by 2035, big deal. We'll see how that ages. Newsom and the Cali left are lazy, inept, corrupt dreamers that think they can legislate they're cocktail party ramblings and that will make it so. In the absence of a Trump like revival in Cali, either the Chicoms or the Mexican cartels will take over and burn his ass in an incinerator for good old steam power. It'd be the most useful thing he ever did.
