I was at work today and one of our regular customers came in. She's in her early twenties. We always chat when she stops in. Today she was wearing a hat with a bald eagle over an American flag on its front, with the letters "USA" written on the brim.
She told me that she was in online class earlier that day and her teacher told her to take it off, otherwise she'd have to leave class.
So she left class.
I asked if she'll be wearing it again tomorrow and she said "oh, absolutely, no one is going to infringe on MY rights. I'm going to throw on a shirt with the flag on it, too, and they're just going to have to deal with it. Otherwise I'm just going to stop going to class, but I'm alright with that, too."
I was so proud. I wanted to say so much more, but talking about politics at my place of business is a big no-no. I just wanted to share with you all!
I can't wait until these schools get what's coming to 'em.
Freedom first!
