I understand the tendency to have a normalcy bias (when you should be very worried but convince yourself it's probably fine). But come on you're at a fucking riot. And this was honestly expected. I can't even talk about this stuff to my family because they're just too scared and stressed. I've been extra vigil lately and never unarmed.
