Oh, and I finally got my voter registration updated with my new address ... Over a year ago.
The DMV didn't do it for me automatically when I changed it for my license... But they did change my husband's automatically 🙄
And my state regs say that to change it other than that you have to go in person to the county clerk's office and show ID!!!! But I put it off... And then Covid...
But... I found a Federal form that says that states HAVE TO accept it, and it simply let me list the old address and new... And could mail it into my state capital... Instead of dealing with the county.
Got my new voter registration card with correctly updated address last week.!!!!
Ready to go to the polls in person!
Yessss! Nothing quite like voting in person.
