Hello, fellow Lady Pedes! Hope you are all enjoying your evening/night. Any specific conversation topics for tonight? I'm 32 and from North, AL and I am open for any and all discussion, as well as meeting some new, fellow lady pedes! Where are y'all from?

Southern California 30 year old here! I'm getting back into doing makeup (took it easy on it during quarantine), what are your favorite brands and inspiration?

Hi! Oh gosh..I love makeup and love skincare even more, considering I have dry skin. I am super into Korean Beauty prosucts, such as (COSRX, Benton, Neogen, etc.) because they help so much with my dry skin. However, I have sooo many other products. I use as much moisturizing makeup products, as well. What is your skin type?

About 30 miles or so outside of Seattle here. I'm originally from the Midwest but moved here 20 years ago and have never managed to get a IRL female friend. As soon as people find out I'm not progressive and -gasp- am conservative, all of a sudden I'm not invited out to things, they are too busy, they straight up start ignoring me in favor of other coworkers etc.. It really sucks to live in a deep blue shithole. But my youngest is 5 years away from graduating high school and I don't want to uproot them unless we start getting into refugee status (like secession or something). As for skin stuff, not much into cosmetics, but I love moisturizing with argan oil. I used to have bad cracking and bleeding problems with my hands in the winter, but argan oil seems to help tremendously.

I've tried some Korean products, they're great! I'll look into the ones you mentioned. I have combination skin - dry on my cheeks, forehead and nose are oily.

I'm not great at makeup but have tried a brand called Il Makiage. They have a quick skin type quiz which helps nail down your foundation color.

I'm 38 and hadn't really worn foundation before, but my skin is getting a bit uneven so I thought I'd try it. I took the quiz and they sent me a sample and it is astonishing how perfect it is. I was afraid it'd be too heavy, I'd feel it, it would rub off etc...but no! Just amazing.

Thanks for the recommendation! I need a good foundation, I'm in the same boat as you with the uneven skin.

Hi MAGA-Lo, I've lived all over the place and am now a Dallasite, so I guess I'm representing the great state of Texas! Or at least my wee part of it.

I'm a 48 year old mother of 2 and America is my adopted country. I was born overseas and can't tell you the love and gratitude I have for this country. It pains me to see what the garbage left is doing to it, but knowing we have Pedes everywhere who will fight for it to remain great - and especially fight for our unique Constitution - is what gives me comfort.

How’s things in Alabama?

Honestly, compared to how the rest of the country is portrayed in the "media," we are doing pretty good, I would have to say. I'm in central North, AL...not to far from the Tennessee state line. For the most part it is just a different way of life from the majority of the country, much more community driven, and an over all "safer" atmosphere with all this craziness going around.

How's it feeling up around your neck of the woods?
