There really should be a law if a mob stops and holds a car in place the driver is allowed to floor it if they feel threatened. Then again, we wouldn't need this law if people just had common fucking sense.
Just a tip: You aren't allowed to talk about jury nullification with the other jurors, or admit that is what you are doing. Just stay quiet and vote your conscience.
At the beginning all jurors swear to uphold the law as it is written. If you reveal that you are not going to do this then you are kicked out or a mistrial is called.

You can, but if the judge finds out you will be tossed for an alternate.
It's usually the attorneys that will disqualify you rather than the judge.
At least that was my experience when serving jury duty and couldn't afford to miss work.
