Trump said he would jail Hillary... . When will this happen?

You know, if most of the posters here were in Trump's position, they would've blown their wads almost immediately upon getting in office. Patience is a foreign idea in America nowadays, i guess.

Most people here probably would've ended the Mueller probe and fallen into the obstruction trap. And yall would either be limping to the end of your first term or already removed.

When I read Art of the Deal, Trump's patience was the main thing that stood out to me. And no, I'm not saying he's gonna have her arrested Nov 4th, or even by 2024, but I do think expect some justice satisfaction.

Exactly. They would have immediately gone all in, and most likely it would have blown up in their faces, letting the criminals off the hook permanently.

Or easily turned into the tyrants that the left want Trump to be.

What stood out for me was that he exacted a heavy price on those that tried to screw him over. Great book should be required text in any university business class.

Would publicly destroying them as traitors and thieves do?

Without convictions and sentences there will always be an air of uncertainty around it. The media will tell normies nothing has happened and Trump engaged in a witch hunt.

So we destroy the media too yea?

You are so correct on the patience. Most complainers are shills anyway. Real supporters see the work that's been and is being done. The rest are just lazy mouth breathers who could benefit but do not know how.

I think that's why a lot of people get impatient with Barr. The Section 230 rewrite that the DOJ sent over to Congress is an example where you need to give them time to do it right, and do it in such a way that we win, and the other side gets screwed.

It's like playing chess, while the 4 move mate is really funny to pull on people, if the rest of your game plan doesn't use that as an opening, you'll be put badly out of position and your opponent can exploit that mistake.

Hate to say it but Relax, make sure you vote and get 3 more people to the polls to vote. Trump needs more "COLD ANGER" to evolve. The 230 exemption can shut down Social Media in an hour, Sedition act can round up traitors and Antifa in a couple of hours and then they are on there way to Gitmo. Sedition and Treason is a MILITARY not Civilian Charge and is handled by the MILITARY. Every day more swamp creatures are exposed. Some, like Tom Hanks, got new citizenship, deleted all his tweets, moved to non-extradition Greece while the "OTHERS" just talk exposing more swamp creatures. Yes, there will be a cleaning and draining of the swamp and the addition of a new Supreme Court Nominee is just a HUGE BONUS, but remember the Trump has a plan. If it does not work then have your food stores up, "toys" and ammo safe and dry and let the chips fall where they may. Pray and stick to the plan with knowledge of the backup plan. WWG1WGA

It could never realistically happen till he gets his second term locked in. It's taken most of his first term just to purge the judiciary and doj to the point any arrests and indictments would stick let alone be carried out to begin with. He has sank half a billion into turning gitmo into the most secure island prison on the planet with a 'vip' prison where once you go in you never leave for any reason as it has full medical facilities inside. This is their fate and to ensure it happens we have to ensure he gets his second term.

Block_Helen 5 points ago +5 / -0

Yes. This is second term stuff. No smart president is going to risk his agenda teeing up a huge criminal investigation/prosecution against the deep state in his FIRST term. Because if you tee it up and lose, your second term won't happen.

I have a simpler and much more cost effective solution for people destined for Gitmo. One ropey boi

He didn't say that to my knowledge. He said if he were in power when she committed her crimes, she would be in jail, during the debate. Do you have info where he said that outside of the debate?

3
Minarchist_Manlet 3 points ago +3 / -0

He went along with the "lock her up" chants at the convention.

The president is not the judge and jury. If he was then the claims of dictator would be correct. He's a constitutionalist.

He said if he were in power when she committed her crimes, she would be in jail, during the debate.

Totally wrong.

"It's just awfully good that someone with the temperament of Donald Trump isn't in charge of the law in this country"

"Because you'd be in jail''

You need to work on comprehension. He said nothing about WHEN the crime would have been committed relative to his term of office.

Neptunes_rings 8 points ago +11 / -3

"We will..", "We shall..." is a promise.

"Because you'd be.." is rhetorical.

How's that comprehension working out for you?

Block_Helen 4 hours ago +2 / -0 He said after the election that he would let her alone, because he felt sorry for her, more or less. To unify the country etc. That was the gist of it.

He may be regretting that. But he said it.

You can't reverse yourself about something you didn't say.

Helen's quote there shows it: people are aware that he reversed himself.

Therefore, he did say it, in the debate, because that's how people, including the President, understood his words.

You fail to understand the meaning of the word 'rhetorical'.
