Yep, all the riots and protests have been prompted by the media (although I believe the extent of the violence has certainly been unintentional). That is why, once election season is over, they will vanish overnight.
I think the violence is the goal. The plan is/was to have voters blame Trump for the violence. These people operate within a bubble, they believe their own hype and missed completely that Trump always a proponent of law and order would gain from the violence not lose.
The riots will continue because now their goal is to disrupt communities, to drive voters out of state, to eliminate polling sites so they can steal the vote.
If that were the case, then our opposition would be blaming Trump for the violence, not denying that any violence exists.
The deaths of criminal Blacks kept hitting big headlines for weeks before George Floyd. It seems like the goal was to start another Ferguson, but what happened was LA Race Riots times a hundred.
True, some are saying there is no violence, "mostly peaceful protests." But others re blaming Trump, also blaming "white supremacists."
I used to be a Dem, I still get a lot of emails from them, many of their emails blame Trump for the violence saying he divided people, that he is a racist and the riots are because of him.
I think their original plan was to go big; to use uncontrolled riots and looting in their captured states and cities as bait, as they continue to believe Trump is rash and ignorant they felt he would bring in the Army and stop the riots. When he didn't they decided to increase them and bring them to Red areas, still didn't work.
Now they are left with a couple of actions and themes; action: stealing via mail in ballots, themes: riots are because of Trump, another theme: Ruth is dead (I think she has been dead or near dead for some time), the horror, we must stop him!
They are powerful, they control many states and AGs, they have unlimited money but they are hampered because they believe their own hype. I have no idea who there focus groups consist of but I suspect they are telling them what they think they want to hear, not what they actually think.
We will see, stopping the ballot theft is key to all of this.
I realize some are blaming POTUS, but what else is new? I’m actually a little pissed that he tried to compromise with BLM with that bit of legislation that’s already been forgotten about, but fuck it I guess.
Neither side will accept this election as legitimate, and if Biden steals a win, the GOP will do nothing for us. Best advice anyone here can give is be prepared.
