According to witnesses, a white SUV drove into Cal Anderson Park in an attempted drive by shooting and CHOP “security” returned fire. CHOP “security” is made up of armed of armed protesters.
However, from pictures on the scene, the windows of the SUV appear to have been rolled up at the time they were shot out calling into question the initial reports.
I realize they may not have the name of the shooter but if they cared, they’d be picking up all known members of Chaz security and leadership and shaking them down for intel. Maybe they just are saying fuck em cause the people shot there were participants in the anarchy and they’ve defunded the local police so people who didn’t annex part of the city need and deserve their help more but that’s just a guess. The left keeps pushing for anarchy but an orderly authoritarian will be the response of normal people. I doubt we see Aristotle’s philosopher king but a dictator or something near it could very well be the response of the people in their disgust with the lawlessness and degeneracy of the far left. Hopefully it’s more like our first revolution where a group of philosophers corrects the mistakes of those before while building on the successes of previous great civilizations but we’ll see
