The silent majority needs to turn to their family and friends that are organizing to vote multiple times to steal this election and browbeat them into following the rules. A majority doesn't fucking matter if the enemy side is fully ok with breaking the law to win.

By the way, this is the kind of person I was thinking of when I made the post about our priority being getting people to vote for Trump (and down ballot Republicans) not convincing people to become Republicans or conservatives. Most Americans are like this guy who are just trying to get by and don't have the luxury of being able to care about partisan issues like abortion that doesn't affect them; they don't give a shit about those sort of things. They care about how they're gonna get by, pay their bills, and put food on the table. They don't really give a shit about politics. So, when you convince people like this to vote for Trump, remember that. Don't get into a debate with them or start preaching to them about issues like guns and abortion that they don't care about because they don't have the luxury to care about those sorts of things and frankly don't give a shit.

I just want to comment on this man’s bravery for choosing to avoid a criminal lifestyle. I did a small stint as a social worker in an inner city high school and got to meet a lot of teens, hear their motivations and how they are choosing to live their lives. You think it would be easy to tell people that selling drugs or making other forms of “fast money” is not a good choice, that fast money disappears just as quickly as you make it. But in their shoes, what they were doing made a lot of sense and seemed very logical. How do you convince a person that they should pursue this abstract education, take out loans and be indebted forever, at the chance of making a living when they can make thousands of dollars right now by engaging in some risky behavior that is probably going to get expunged from their record if they do get caught when they turn 18. For kids living in poverty, hundreds to thousands of dollars is so enticing. It takes a very smart and very aware young person to understand that this is not the way, especially when you are looking around you and all that meets your eye is squalor.

Choosing to avoid a criminal lifestyle isn't brave. It's doing the right thing. We shouldn't be giving credit to people and calling them brave for doing things they're supposed to. You're supposed to avoid a criminal lifestyle!
