(Vigano' is the preeminent hero of the Catholic Church at this time. Of course his letter here was not read at yesterday's prayer breakfast. But its truth cannot be restrained.)

Editor’s Note: The following is a note the Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò sent to the National Catholic Prayer Breakfast, which was held today. The event organizers declined to read it aloud at the event, which this year took place online. LifeSiteNews publishes it in full below.

September 23, 2020 (LifeSiteNews) – With deep emotion I have learned that President Donald J. Trump will be taking part in the National Catholic Prayer Breakfast on 23 September.

On this occasion, Attorney General William Barr will receive the NCPB’s Christifideles Laici Award (Christ’s Faithful Laity), named after the Apostolic Exhortation On the Laity by Pope John Paul II.

I would like to make myself present on this memorable occasion, in which I participated with great enthusiasm as Apostolic Nuncio during the years of my mission in Washington, D.C. (2011-2016).

I therefore join all the participants in this extraordinary celebration and all American Catholics, who see in President Donald Trump the greatest defender of the supreme values of Christian civilization: of life, from conception to natural death; of the natural family composed of one man and one woman and children; and of love for the homeland: One Nation under God! And, most importantly, he stands for defending the right to freely practice our Faith, thus allowing us more fully to honor God.

The presidential elections in November represent an epochal challenge, a biblical challenge, the outcome of which will be decisive not only for the United States of America but for the whole world.

It is necessary that all of you Catholics of America are well aware of the role that Providence has deigned to entrust to your President, and that you are aware of the extraordinary battle that He is preparing to fight against the demonic forces of the deep state and against the New World Order. I am at your side with fervent prayer, together with millions of Catholics and with all people of good will throughout the world.

Our trust rests in God, the Almighty, whose right hand always works wonders.

Great letter. I'm always glad to see Archbishops taking a firm stand on Catholic morals. There's too many who are weak and refuse to call out evil when they see it.

Kinda saps at your credibility in these matters when you consider the various globalist popes and their koran kissing etc

The church is just like our govt - some good folks, some bad folks, the power structure is currently owned by the baddies.

some good folks, some bad folks

Errr dude I'm talking about the Pope, you know, the leader. God's so-called representative on earth.

That's a bit more of a systemic rot than 'some bad folk' and I assume is also representative of the entire Vatican.

...not to mention the INSANE number of kiddy fiddler priests. When are Catholics going to throw off their dogma and embrace the gospel without being shackled to such a toxic institution?

If I saw my leader, or so called "God's representative" kissing Korans, giving his blessing to migrant invaders and a myriad other things you can bet I'd find another place to go to church.

I'm not denying that, I'm just responding to what sounded like a claim that there are no good people in the church. As I said, the power structure is controlled by the baddies.

I never even made that claim.

If you ask me, the "power structure" itself is part of the problem.

Yes you've made your opinion clear.

Sorry if this offends you but who has time for this? Life is short, forget about adhering to some Catholic system designed by a Roman emporer to bring faith into acceptable societal parameters and judge it by it's fruits.

It has not delivered, but it has given us the rot of Christianity and the laughable image of it's "leader" bowing down to idols.

Embrace Jesus where you stand and not in some "holy tradition". If t_d was early Christianity meeting up in secret and with codes, or risking life and limb to preach to an unauthorised crowd, then Roman Catholicism is Tencent and Reddit.

I don't mind. I personally think the church is behind a lot of the human trafficking that happens around the world. But I think this Vigano Cardinal is legit so that's basically my only stance, that he seems to be fighting the power. The church needs a purge the likes of which we've never seen - the Vatican needs to be audited, all their crimes against children need to be punished to the full extent of the law, the pedophile priests should be hanged. All of the crimes need to be exposed and punished for any semblance of legitimacy to return.

You clearly have a lot of reading to do. The Catholic Church began to be corrupted in the 1960s with toxic liberation theology and ecumenism. It's the same disease that's been rotting away at all Western institutions. The Pope might be Christ's representative on earth but he's not infallible and plenty of popes in the past have been declared heretics by subsequent popes, which is how I see a NWO puppet like Francis or JPII. The infallibility of a pope is separate from the core of Catholic teaching and the Seven Sacraments. Having a pope isn't even close to being the most important theological difference between Catholics and Protestants. You want an example of an ideal Catholic who actually adhered to Catholic teaching, look to the great Antonin Scalia. The guy was a traditionalist Catholic. Look up sedevacantism and Marcel Lefebvre for starters.

And are you seriously delusional enough to believe that Catholics are the only Christian group that's afflicted with pedophilia? It's rampant in the Anglican church and scores of Protestant sects, they're just better at hiding it because the Catholic Church is the one getting attention for it due to its size. Pedophilia is a social disease and every institution from the government, to churches, to schools, to the entertainment industry, to Wall St., etc is knee deep in that mud.

Heard it all before, the organisation is a corrupted fruit. Good coping mechanisms though.
