So? All it takes is for her husband to see this video of his wife getting tasered while someone drags his kids off to "safety" and he'll be on a warpath.

Doesn't matter how adverse to conflict she is when there's a strong, loving husband to watch out for her.

Hahaha, why is this cop so fat? Is he really a cop?

It will be a trespass charge. I guarantee you it will be presented like this:

  1. The rule of the stadium is that all spectators have to wear masks. It’s not about what the State says here—it’s about the venue rules.
  2. Your attending (and ticket, if issued) is agreement to this.
  3. By breaking the rule, you are no longer allowed to be on the premises. You lose your permission to be there and become a trespasser.
  4. Refusing to leave when you are trespassing is an offense for which you can be arrested and prosecuted.

I'm pretty sure the government is applying the pressure

Also...why not just wait for her to leave and then apply the tresspass?

I get your point but this is probably a public school. They take your money without consent.

Precisely. Then add resisting assist charges.

Your fight should always take place in the judicial system. Never fight the executive system, they lack the ability to negotiate with you. That power is reserved for the judicial alone.

The best way to help your fight in the judicial is to comply with the executive. If the executive is in the wrong, you lack the power to correct them. The judicial has the power to correct the executive on your behalf, after the fact.

The judicial has the power to correct the executive on your behalf, after the fact.

Seen tons of that lately, haven't we?

All those coup plotters "corrected" and marched off to gitmo...

...in your dreams.

Two points: the judicial takes time. This is by design to avoid mistakes but the amount of time it currently takes is far too long.

Also the class factor. Higher class, more well heeled individuals can command more power and respect inside and outside the courts. At a certain point in the hierarchy we have untouchables like the political class.

Both are problems that need attention from the legislative.

Edit to add: some of the commies are getting 10 year federal sentences, so that is a start.

You're right. Better to scuffle with the police and then cry about getting tazed.

This is exactly what happened. Why is everyone defending this trashy lady for trespass? I agree the mask part is fucking dumb, but that's not what is happening here. She could have just walked out. The cop is just doing his job, take it up with the venue. Fucking hell, I thought we were smarter than this.

It is a stupid law. I dont agree with her way of protesting, but do not forget that ROSA PARKS did the EXACT SAME THING.... and she is praised constantly for it. Im about to get some Chik-fil-a and guess which street I go down to get it? ROSA PARKS AVE.

monkadelic 2 points ago +2 / -0

SO fucking true. Exactly why we can never have "democracy". its just mob justice.

He could have just waited for her to walk out. What danger was she posing? Oh right, not wearing a mask. So it does come back to these draconian new rules.

1
monkadelic 1 point ago +2 / -1

I did not see her indicate she was willing to leave. She had no intention of just walking out. So it does not come back to any mask rule. Sorry man, just going off what I see in the video.

subtlebrush 2 points ago +2 / -0

What about unequal justice under the law. Other cop isn’t wearing a mask.

This isn't really a mask issue from a legal perspective.

And it wasn't really a coup, "from a legal perspective".

We can make excuses or arguments for both sides all day. Fact is, a woman is getting manhandled for not wearing a mask.

And if preventing corona was the goal -well that failed and they made it worse. Why did the school need to trespass her at that exact moment and cause a physical confrontation?

sun_wolf 0 points ago +1 / -1

What if they asked her to leave because she was a Jew?

0
jgardner 0 points ago +2 / -2

That's why she resisted. Every act of violence is more money in the settlement.
