I live near a small park. It consists of a baseball field, a tennis court, a set of swings and a slide. Several months back the powers that be decided to close it because of corona. They put yellow tape around the playground and chained the tennis court door. Complete bullshit in my opinion so I removed the tape and cut the chain off. They replaced the tape once and the chain twice which I promptly removed each time. After that they gave up, but not before removing the net in the tennis court. A prick move for sure, but I didn't really care because I just went there to let my kids run around. Every time I removed that crap I would see people within hours back at the park enjoying themselves. The park's now officially open again, but I thought my fellow pedes, especially those in Dem run hellholes that are still closed down, might appreciate my small attempt to fight the bullshit.

Great. We just need about 80% of people to follow the same example when it comes to the bullshit in Grocery stores and they'll go back to normal in a week.

I remember reading a while back about someone like you, who would remove the tape from around the playground and picnic areas. When the powers-that-be removed the net from the tennis courts, this person used the tape they removed, and strung it up in place of the nets.

Terrific job, fellow 'pede!!! Keep up the good work!

I live in a "red" state and these idiots did the same thing. They closed the kids splashpad and locked all the bathrooms, so if you're there with your kid he/she can't use the damn bathroom. My kids school doesn't allow the use of locker rooms, and when swimming each kid has to remain in their own lanes at all times, and parents are no longer allowed to sit in the gym and watch. It's fucking ridiculous.

Yeah the Democrats in my area removed the basketball hoops because one poor black kid used to play there after school by himself. I always use it as an example to remind everyone how racist the Democrats are.
