It's my opinion that we should have a definite and swift death penalty in America and that a definite and swift death penalty is a major deterrent to criminals.
It's also my opinion that the death penalty should only be issued for cold blooded murder. You take a life, you lose a life. Thankfully, these officers are still alive and this man is guilty of attempted murder. He should be behind bars for life, but life is precious, and my morals are high and concrete on this. No death penalty here.
I agree, except if you try to take a life and you fail only through incompetence or luck - you are no better than an actual murderer, and should be treated like one.
