First Son, scary
i went through something just like this last november. weak respiration at birth and spent 10 days in the nicu. keep your hopes up man. babies are stronger than they appear. be there for your partner. by not letting myself get down it really helped my wife cope with the 10 days and my son hooked up to machines.
That sounds straight-forward, but it really isn't. Such a hard thing to actually pull off.
IMO, this is what being a truly successful man looks like.
Just having the wherewithal to provide that to your wife, not to mention the perspective to know it's necessary, speaks volumes about you and of what you are made.
It wasnt easy but at the same time i have faced death a few times in my life, one time specifically after surviving a propane explosion i was sure i was dying. Life seems to be easier to navigate since then. Get the most put of it while you can
