Joe's Spotify masters will not allow a Trump podcast. Their employees would walk out and claim Spotify is amplifying white nationalist views and the MSM would nod their heads and say "Mmm, yes. Quite."

People still on the delusion-train that JRE isn't controlled by a media tycoon now are, well...delusional. $100M and they get no say? YEAH OKAY LOL

If I was the head of any tech company. I would start firing anyone who speaks this crazy nonsense. I would find ways to cull them out of my business. It's a bad image.

It'd be very easy to fire them all for creating a hostile work environment, or for just being a racist dick...But they don't, because they love their little communists and they're afraid of what the twittersphere will do to their precious image.

It's a mystery to me why no one has cottoned on to the fact that "Get woke, go broke" is a bad business model, and also that no one has taken the opposite approach of gathering up all the cancelled talent at a discount and mobilizing them to get mega rich.

Why don’t you do it?

That’s why.

Spotify is a Swedish company. Totally cucked.

Yes, Sweden, the single western country that didn’t cuck out and completely shut down during the pandemic, the country that is completely open. Swedes can go to the movies. Can you? They ain’t perfect, but as a country they displayed incredible smarts and courage this year. Also in 2013 they told Bernie to stop using them as an example of “democratic socialism.”

You make a good point can't disagree with you on that with the kung flu handling. However, what I mean by cucked is all the imported migrants. The no go zones. The riots because someone burned a Koran. Plus Spotify is in tech industry which is generally cucked anyway.

Allow me to direst you both to an earlier comment I made describing the likely reason Sweden didn’t cuck on the lockdown. It’s because they are actually super mega cucked.

True, all valid points, but this year shows that there are still some good people over there, and maybe, just maybe, the pendulum will swing the other way not just here, but over there too. Gotta have hope and not completely write places off.

Yeah, but they lucked out a bit. Their response to anything except anti-globalism (including hoards of raping migrants) is "don't worry it will be fine and there is no problem" and a broken clock is right twice a day or yada yada

Ahahahaha. They didn’t shut down because their imported dune coons would have chimped out. Smarts and courage my ass.

Rogan was so dumb to take that deal IMO. Yes he got paid but his credibility (such as it was) is shot. Everything I respected about him (and I don't count myself much of a fan, but my husband is, so I've watched a lot of Rogan) got wiped out when he put on the Spotify yoke.

If I was Joe.. I hold all the cards. Fuck you spotify. I'm rich without you. You do it my way or I go back to YouTube.

Contract. Even if he said "I'll give you $101M back, but I'm leaving." he can't. Lawyer's descend. They own the JRE now.

Start the Joe Rogan Adventure Podcast

Can we get rid of Jamie for that one?

5
Block_Helen 5 points ago +5 / -0

Yes but he won't. And YouTube isn't gonna let him be independent either.

This should be a no-brainer business move. Allow Joe to conduct the interview/debate and restrict the podcast to their podcast app. The whole point of the JRE deal was to push customers onto their app. Everyone would download their dumb app to listen to the interview/debate.
