Ok no. Im sorry. Im a teacher who does NOT use CRT. teaching kids how to handle various emotions such as disappointment, anger, joy, etc is not a bad thing. SEL has nothing to do with race or any liberal thing. The teacher is stupid and using it for nefarious reasons. What you're complaining about is not SEL.
I'm just informing you what SEL is, it is not what you're complaining about. What you're complaining about is communist indoctrination with the gender and race stuff. Please know I'm not saying your thoughts are invalid. Im just saying it shouldn't be directed at SEL. Because SEL, as it is supposed to be, is only about handling various emotions. Also it should be only 30 minutes once a week... not 2 hours a day. At my district we cover one emotion a week for a short period of time. For example, disappointment. Quick and to the point and then onto regular content.
We have no friction. I genuinely want to hear your thoughts about how SEL oversteps parenting boundaries. I hadn't thought of it that way and you may change my view on it. As a teacher, I think it's very important to consider parents concerns. So please, #changemymind
And by the way... i have been conservative for quite some time. Please do not attack me without justification. Im not your enemy. Edit: Also, I hate CRT. I have actually reached out to Ted Cruz about what my university is doing. Again... i'm on your side.

I can see that argument. I hear you. Please tell me more of your thoughts. I could potentially use it in the future. Honest.. not being a smart ass.
