Mandating upon the entire population an unproven and highly debated behavior is extremely unethical from a scientific standpoint. Imagine mandating on the entire population a drug that hasn’t been properly tested and is hotly debated amongst researchers whether it’s a good idea to take it at all.

Oh wait they plan on doing that with the vaccine

Don’t wear one then. Executive orders aren’t laws, in and of themselves. Laws have to go thru both houses of Congress to be legally binding.

So far I have refused to wear one except for 1 store visit and 1 doctor visit at the supposed peak times. But I went to the doctor yesterday and was the only person there without a mask. No problem besides a couple questions from staff and weird looks from other people.

I just say “ohhhh :( id just love too, but I have a medical condition that prevents me from wearing a mask, the best I can do is ‘socially distance.’ My condition? We’ll see, that’s actually protected by HIPAA as well as the 4th amendment. So yeah, have a great day.” :)

Remind me again where in the constitution it is written that my rights are suspended in an “emergency.” I must have missed that amendment.

The problem with your argument is that it implies the constitution gives you rights. The constitution does not give you any rights whatsoever; it protects your rights from the government. It is a guarantee that the government can’t take your rights.

An argument was made against the bill of rights because the founders worried that in fact, at some point in the future, people would believe that only the rights written would be guaranteed, and to protect against that, the 9th amendment was included.

Text: The enumeration in the Constitution, of certain rights, shall not be construed to deny or disparage others retained by the people.
