Yosemite. Lassen. Joshua Tree. Santa Cruz (liberal town, yes - but incredibly beautiful). Giant Sequoias. Sierra Nevada mountains and thousands of miles of open wilderness. Disneyland. So. Cal beaches. Huge areas of every crop known to man - including tomatoes, rice, almonds, peaches, apples, walnuts, dates, garlic - literally everything. This is an amazing place if you get out of the terrible cities.
Orange County will always stay strong and vote red imo. I’m in SD and we used to be pretty moderate maybe with a slight conservative lean but these last 12 years or so we’ve been moving more and more to the left. Sad to see.
If California weren't so incredibly beautiful, it wouldn't be able to get away with its horrible politics. But because it is one of the most beautiful places in the world, it can.

I live in Orange County, one of the last places in SoCal where you would be a fool to park your car with a Biden sticker on it.
