A lot of people are talking about the "legacy of Ruth Bader Ginsberg." Like we have to honour it and remember it. What IS it exactly?

She wasn't the first woman on the Bench.

She didn't write particularly stimulating decisions.

She wasn't the lynchpin of any pivotal case.

What's this legacy of hers to which some people keep referring?

Do some people talk about the legacy of Antony Scalia?

This "legacy" talk and how they're carrying on about it is weird.
