I'm with you on the skin in the game requirement. Land ownership might be too restrictive, but even a check stub showing you paid taxes could work. I definitely think if you receive more than 40% of your income from gov't assistance, you should have to re-register once you're back on your feet again and off the dole. This is coming from someone who was once on food stamps. (back when it was paper, not the EBT card fiasco we currently have)
Only American citizens, finger ink, voter ID, -or-signed crossreferenced absentee. (Period)
This so basic, it is hard to believe the vote system has become so open to cheating and corruption
"Of the people, by the people, for the people" is the principle that should drive voting process. (Period)
And, increase the voting age to 21 (unless draft is in effect) Brain should be developed before voting allowed.
