Right, and on the face of it it sounds good, but the constitution clearly states that the state level election process must be for the people of the various states to decide for themselves what is best for them. Creating a precedent for federal rules to be followed by the states for an electoral process lends the idea that all other state level issues could then be amended to fall under federal purview. And that is a road to a larger federal government, and more tyranny on a federal level.
I used to feel that way, then I realized that if we let them steal this election, we will never have a fair election again. I won’t downvote you, because you aren’t wrong, per se, but I feel like that argument will lead us out of the frying pan and into the fire.
All civilizations end up in the fire. Only one thing separates one civilization from another in this regard. How we come out of it. Even rome couldn't survive in tyranny, dont get me wrong, it lasted a long time under the Caesars. But eventually fell to open borders, and many other issues. It is unavoidable. The only thing we can hope to do, is leave this country better than we found it, and leave it to our posterity to do with as best they can
