Literally everything to do with the Chinese government is completely corrupt. Nothing coming out of that country should be trusted. China is asshole!

My place of work just switched to a Chinese owned time card system, including an app for our personal phones. No one I’ve told about the origin of the company has been happy about it*.

More like save it and use it as blackmail material when they want something from a US citizen. They have been known to do this. That's essentially what TikTok is for. Avoid any Chinese app like the plague.

Its not corrupt - its communist. This is actually "working as intended" for communist states.

https://www.statista.com/statistics/372900/number-of-chinese-students-that-study-in-the-us/

Sooo, I would like to see this number be slashed. Universities and colleges have a lot of information running through their servers and old professors that lack the cyber security know how to protect their important research.
