LinkedIn deleted my professional account for pointing out that Breonna Taylor was a drug dealing thug to the NY Times and several "Diversity" executives
🐂 Bullshit 💩
For the crime of publicly supporting police officers and DARING to tell a black person they're wrong, my account I've had since 2007 was deleted. But they're allowed to spew whatever misinformation they want. I simply posted the below pointing out that they're wrong and black people aren't being hunted by the police. Make no mistake, LinkedIn is JUST as bad, if not worse, than Facebook and Twitter!
- Breonna Taylor wasn't an EMT, she was fired in 2017
- She was knee deep in drug dealing with her ex boyfriend
- She's on recordings from the jailhouse running drugs for her ex boyfriend
- She was under surveillance for months for running drugs
- She was on the warrant as was her car and apartment
- A neighbor testified that the officers announced themselves despite obtaining a no knock warrant
- Breonna's boyfriend testified that he fired first, striking an officer and then when they returned fire, she took the shots, she wasn't asleep in her bed as fake news likes to report
Dude, a word of advice:
Don't do any political shit on LinkedIn. Ever.
I hire folks on the regular, and I will routinely shitcan candidates who get political on LinkedIn - doubly so if they virtue-signal and SJW shit up. The reason isn't about bias or ideology, but because of team cohesion and productivity: If they cannot keep their political shit off of a website that's supposed to be about professional and career development, then they'll be unable to keep that shit out of my teams. I don't want or need that pollution in my workday.
I also know full well that I'm not alone. Almost every manager does this, and for damned good reasons. Last thing any of us need is to have to explain why productivity went to shit because, oh, ' [The pink-haired 5-o-clock-shadowed scrum-master named] Madilynn stirred up a shitstorm in the scrum meeting, then started a flamewar on Slack, and now nobody is talking to each other, so the updates are gonna be pushed back a week'
Yeah, no, we don't put up with disruptive assholery, so we don't hire disruptive assholes, and LinkedIn does a great job of helping us weed them out.
I admire your urge to take a stand for truth, though. Really, I do.
BUT... I'm begging you and every other pede: don't do that shit on LinkedIn. Please.
Let the SJW fucktards block themselves from at least half the jobs, recruiters, and hiring managers out there. Unfollow and un-link yourself from them. Doing all this opens up opportunities for you that those fucks will never see, and never know that they got rejected for.
Seriously, only useless HR fucks and no-paying college jobs will hire out-and-proud SJWs, and there's not enough of those jobs to go around (even in good times) so...
With respect,
Amen. LinkedIn has been HUGE for me with finding jobs, getting interviews, and learning about some stuff in my field.
There is nothing about the idea of LinkedIn that should lead ANYONE to think they should post anything but job related stuff.
Would you go to a Bible study and interrupt it with your politics? Do you go to your doctor to discuss politics? Do you go to DIY message boards and discuss politics? Do you go to the police department for advice on cooking? Do you go to the welfare office and ask people there for career advice? Do you ask your cashier for investment advice?
Why the FUCK would you do that on what's essentially a DIGITAL RESUME.
My ONLY posts have been about asking people to keep LinkedIn professional and on topic.
Perfectly put thank you.
Well said and thanks for taking the time to provide this advice. I think LinkedIn has helped me professionally and I do catch myself biting my tongue on some posts I see - but yeah, LinkedIn is not the platform for this stuff. I also hire through their recruiter platform and look at the activity of potential hires. Any posts and any SJW or politicizing gets an immediate rejection - even if I agree with them. It's just not the place.
You're playing into their hands. We need to do the exact opposite- hire sane people. Obviously, they're still getting jobs. They're taking over the country- media, tech, education . . . So you're not going to hire someone who says "science says masks are bullshit?" Yeah, fuck youl
Sane (read: based) people don't feel the need to do politics on a career website, genius - in fact it's rather rare to see that happen in my line of work. Most times when I see a based comment, it usually came in the form of a post from some retired dude who didn't give a shit what you thought.
So yeah, by simple process of elimination, I tend to hire a fuckload of sane people.
Everything is politics.
LinkedIn is shit anyway. They contrive situations to get people to connect via their site and when you check with people, turns out they did not request or approve any of it. They are bogus.
The best part about linkedin is mocking some middle-management wannabe-CEO who got their MBA online, refers to themselves in 3rd person in their Bio section and uses all of the latest corporate jargon that doesn't mean anything like:
And then you always have to have "sustanibility", "exclusivity", and "diversity" to round things out for someone who's only job is keeping track of phone calls on a spreadsheet...
Look, Fat, optimizing the synergistic possibilities of big data under lean methodology is serious business.
Cornpop was the first articulate 6 sigma blackbelt... I mean come on man.
Kek.
If you're not leveraging the power of machine learning to harness new and emerging over the horizon disruptive technologies, what would you say you do here?
Just another 'social network' I've always refused to put my info on, even though it is expected in my role.
It has helped me get many job offers and interviews.
The problem is people thinking they should discuss anything but job related stuff on it.
Political posts, religious posts, or generic rweet style posts have no place on it and are what has ruined it.
It's like going to a baking message board and discussing anything but baking.
Yeah, not smart when it's as business networking site. Jesus fuck people. Think.
The thought police strikes again!
Try the Popeye's chicken sandwich. Former Chick Fil A fan here. Awesome.
LinkedIn is for jobs and professional information.
ANYONE discussing ANYTHING but such crap should be banned. There is no reason to discuss this or any politics on LinkedIn.
THIS, isn't politics retard, it's correcting misinformation, which, while I know butthurts pussies like you, is a good thing. If someone says, for instance, that Breonna Taylor was just an innocent black woman sleeping in her bed, correcting that by saying, she was a drug dealing piece of shit whose boyfriend shot at police is a good thing.
So where how do you post shit like this on LinkedIn? I've never joined and never will but I'm curious.
There’s a news feed like Facebook. You can post updates for all your followers to see.
LOL, not a smart place to post stuff like this as it is your forward facing business profile.
It's a digital resume. Many people, like OP, have trouble being professional and discuss/post things irrelevant to their career development.
It's what helped me find the recruiters that got me a job end of 2016.
It's how I interviewed at least once a week for jobs for nearly 3 years. It's how I found my job with a $10/hr raise.
A digital resume is excellent as recruiters can easily seek you out and offer you interviews and to even keep you on their records for things more specific.
Don't want to work that job/ schedule for that pay? Just tell the recruiter what you're looking for and they'll help find it. 0 cost to you. Just check your messages while shitting.
I know what it is, ffs. And there is a lot of hyperbole in your post.
And somehow I'm still doing great in my career without using it.
If you look at the upper right hand corner there's a section called "LinkedIn News" where they push the SJW BS. Usually the first comment is by some female "journalist" who pushes fake news and then the next 2-3 are by "diversity and inclusion" executives and/or some virtue signaling white person (e.g. I'm sorry for being white). The reason I got banned was for pointing out to a black "diversity and inclusion" executive that they were wrong and Breonna Taylor was a drug dealer whose boyfriend shot first.
I’m gonna post same list to my LinkedIn feed. And wear my KAG hat for my profile pic too. Thanks for the great advice
If really only works if you DARE to disagree with a black person about what happened with Breonna Taylor
Linked In is a spam and virus toilet. I do pretty well thank the Lord, I don't need those cocksuckers and data snakes to assist my career. Fuck 'em.
omg thank you ive been trying to get them to leave me alone forever, now i know how to do it!
You really don’t need a LinkedIn acct.
I actually have multiple, so not really worried about it.
Lawyer up.
Not saying you'd win... but LinkedIn is a monopoly, and when companies want your linkedin info, that means it's a major player. A statement needs to be made.
Also... don't ever get political in a work environment.
I wasn't getting political, I was simply stating facts that the LinkedIn "News" team decided to omit and the "Diversity and Inclusion" executives trending purposefully decided to omit. If times were different, I'd shut my mouth, but we're living at a time where there's too many idiots speaking and there's not enough common sense. I'd rather never get hired again than let all these diversity and inclusion idiots claim that Breonna Taylor was just some innocent black woman instead of saying, hey, she's a criminal and her boyfriend shot first.
