Oh man that's my dream right there. Start a family with my lady, have a bunch of kids, and not have to worry about the money

Talking about prices going through the roof as if that's the worst thing in the world doesn't make any logical sense when you think about economic factors. Supply and demand is simple, prices aren't set so high nobody can buy them, a good or service being sold has to find a buyer or it just sits there and rots. Prices will be what people are able to afford, and if people are having more money able to spend then it doesn't matter if prices go up if wages have increased at the same rate to match it. Furthermore labor is a small portion of the cost of the house you pay for when you buy it, the company that builds the house isn't the one selling it, and they're still going to bid on things the same way. There's just a lot of things going on to consider there that doesn't pass the sniff test, and sounds like the excuse somebody would come up with because they're scared of paying real wages for honest labor.
