A grand jury on Wednesday indicted Commissioner Shannon Brown on 23 felonies, including election fraud, organized election fraud and the fraudulent use of vote-by-mail ballots as part in an alleged vote-harvesting scheme.
To boost Brown’s support in the primary, the candidate and three others "targeted young, able-bodied voters to cast ballots by mail by fraudulently claiming the voters were ‘disabled,’ in most cases without the voters’ knowledge or consent," Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton said Thursday in announcing the charges.
Also charged with engaging in election fraud on Brown’s behalf were Marlena Jackson, 50, of Marshall, charged with 97 felonies; Charlie Burns, 84, of Longview, eight felony counts; and DeWayne Ward, 58, of Longview, six counts. All three also were booked into jail and released Thursday on $25,000 personal recognizance bonds.
Yet the failstream media wants to fool people into thinking that voter fraud isn't real.
Good on ya, Texas for arresting these scumbags.
