Exactly. Besides, the civil insurance protections don't protect against criminal acts.

If Flynn lived in Maryland or Virginia then State prosecutors can go after FBI agents for the crimes in their States.

Working for Federal Law Enforcement doesn't make you immune from State Laws prohibiting illegal spying.

That isn’t the type of insurance they are talking about. You can buy professional liability insurance to cover penalties and lawyers fees if you aren’t provided qualified immunity. What these morons don’t seem to know is that they knew they were doing something wrong, which voids most policies of that sort.

not to mention you can't buy insurance after you have already committed the misconduct that subjects you to liability. how the fuck are these people lawyers.
