American Conservative, like his Dad. Well, as you know Sean, they want to change the Constitution, we also think they need to change their head.

John Lennon was neither american, nor conservative. He was a British druggie, who was killed for really no reason when Sean was 5.

People change and grow. He moved to NYC for a reason. Forget the "Imagine" song and list to "Revolution". Redemption is real, and most powerful.

From what little I know of Sean (since he began playing with Les Claypool and I got to see them do a show sprinkled with commentary... plus a few of his public comments) - I think he swallowed the red pill

Question: “How do you add up success?” Beatles (in unison): “Money!” Question: “What will you do when Beatlemania subsides?” John: “Count the money!” Question: “Are you communists?” Paul: “Us, communists? Why, we can’t be communists. We’re the world’s number one capitalists. Imagine us communists.”

gotta say I didn't know that.... in that era one was either a Beatles person or a Stones person - and I obviously followed the wrong team (though I think I'd still bounce to "Can't You Hear Me Knocking":)
