I don’t have a fucking choice in NJ. My options are mail in, absentee, or provisional paper ballot at my polling station that may or may not be open.

So if you vote in person, your vote may not be counted since it is a provisional ballot, but if you mail in a ballot that you receive at your house for a former resident, that vote will be counted ... fuckin'-A-crowbar

There is a potential opportunity for that.

My parents moved to Florida 10 years ago. I still saw their names in the voter book when I voted in 2018

Not that I am aware of. All by gubernatorial edict too.

The only people that are allowed to use the voting machines at the polling station are the disabled. Everyone else would get a provisional.
