I apologize pedes for my shoulders are not broad enough and my brain too smooth for the task at hand, but all the same I seek to spread the light that is the GEOTUS.
I am in a group, let's not call them friends, and I try to always show them the light but one of them is a full on deranged communist that is my antithesis. While usually his points I can wrangle with and hold my own I'm certainly struggling with his latest thrust and it has to do with the faithful electors plan that Pres has. While for me I can just shrug it off and see it as a safeguard against the insane voter fraud that is going to happen with the mail in voting he is convinced that "this is finally it, Trump is seizing power!" and "He wont commit to a peaceful transition he's the Fascist we always said he was!"
My counter argument I want to be two pronged, the first being emphasizing the issues with mail in voting and then the second I want to show that the measures he is taking are necessary and legal. Any help in finding sources on these two points or giving me points/counter points for a debate would be sincerely appreciated as I would not like to give ground to this lunatic and risk ceding a pool of potential Trump supporters. The "faithful electors plan' presumes that there will be many states where litigation has prevented them from calling the winner, (caused by problems with mail in votes.) There are only five states with experience in all mail voting, and they took many years to perfect their systems and make sure they were secure. But that isn't likely. The real plan b, which the democrats don't want to see, is that if the electoral college does not, can not meet, the whole thing moves to the House. The dems have the majority but it doesn't matter. Each state has one member of the house allowed to vote, one vote. Fifty total. And there are more republican states than dem. CA gets one vote, NY gets one vote. See where this goes? Notice the sudden shift by AOC and Hillary to recommending in person voting? They know.
Now THIS is helpful. The plan is to force a call during the election rather than infinite litigation and vote counting. Got it. Do you have any sources or anything to back this up. Literally every piece of news I find on this is the fake news saying Trump is trying to steal the election.
