You’re calling people closed-minded and stupid because you believe you want more restrictions on negative, non-constructive things to our society and that’s fine. But other people believe that the government already has too much power in controlling and restricting citizens. I personally like that the purchase age of cigarettes was raised to 21, and that educating about the effects of cigarettes has continued and expanded to the youth. All sides are right to an extent and have valid reasons, so there is no reason to say there is a right or wrong here.

There is a right and a wrong side though on most issues. Different political opinions affect everyone. Liberals understand this, and that’s why they fight total warfare, and total warfare is why they’re winning. 2/3rds of millenials associate more with Democrats because Democrats understand the stakes of politics, and fought accordingly. I’m a conservative, and I think Democrats are factually and morally wrong to a frightening degree in many issues. But you can’t deny their tactics have been effective
