I have noticed many of these ones too. One time I very briefly dated a black girl once and I felt like every black person that saw us was like giving me hard looks I've never got from them before In twenty something years of being white. I am now settled down with a Filipino woman and no body cares. I get along wonderfully with the Filipinos around me, they're really great people.

Weirdly enough, it's still rare as fuck to see attractive couples that are white and black together.

Usually a gnarly obese trailer trash white girl and a black guy, if you see it at all. This is coming from someone who lived in a major city that was half black. It's just not something you see irl.

My own anecdote is really relevant to your comment. I don't know how to say this without trying to sound like I'm conceited or something but I would call myself a pretty attractive man. It took me a little longer to mature biologically than many of my peers. But even before puberty all the girls thought I was "cute" too. Anyways when Tinder and dating apps were new, I was trying them out and actually having some success. This was before politics was really a thing with dating. And I knew how to play the game pretty well in L.A.

I get matched with this black girl who is smoking hot. Even if black girls aren't your type you'd likely make an exception for this one. We went out a few times and had a decent time. We didn't have anything in common outside of being attractive tho. But during the times we were in public I felt like I was in that movie the Bronx Tale because so many people just find it strange to see you together. Btw alot of that strange attitude was from black people who saw us. The black dude working at subway was like "is that actually yo girl?"
