Mollie… Judge Sullivan and the DC Court of Appeals are turning out to be the unintentional heroes of the Flynn saga. In their unseemly quest to destroy Flynn, they refused to let DOJ drop case, and now we're getting some of the most explosive documents about Special Counsel probe yet. (twitter.com)

To be fair to Judge Sullivan: he saw this danger clearly and tried to silence the defense team:

MINUTE ORDER as to MICHAEL T. FLYNN. In view of 189 Defendant's Second Supplement re 162 Defendant's Motion to Dismiss Case for Egregious Government Misconduct and in the Interest of Justice, Mr. Flynn shall not file additional supplements to the pending motions until the government completes its final production from the review of the United States Attorney for the Eastern District of Missouri. In the interests of judicial economy and efficient case management, it is hereby ORDERED that the government shall file a notice on the public docket after Mr. Flynn has been provided with the government's final production.
