I'm still unsure as to why it's so important for them to keep this Flynn trial going?
I've read people say "he knows where all the bodies are buried" as he was high up during the Obama admin... But if he's not in jail right now, and if he knew anything, he's surely already discussed it with the DOJ and whitehouse council?
What's the strategic benefit for the swamp to keep his trial going past the elections?
BECAUSE HE KNOWS FROM THE INSIDE AND OUT HOW THE INTELLIGENCE COMMUNITY OPERATES. ONCE HE IS A FREE MAN, TRUMP IS GOING TO UNLEASH HIM.
So they're trying to stop him from going back to work basically?
EVERYTHING THEY HAVE DONE (LITERALLY EVERYTHING) SINCE TRUMP WON THE ELECTION IN NOVEMBER HAS BEEN ABOUT PROTECTING THEMSELVES.
ALL THE ENQUIRIES WERE ABOUT FINDING ALL THE INCRIMINATING EVIDENCE ABOUT THEM AND 'LOSING' IT.
BIDEN RUNNING IS A BIT OF A FUNNY ONE. YOU SEE ALL THIS STUFF COMING OUT NOW?... PART OF IT WAS SO THAT BIDEN (DEMOCRATS) COULD CLAIM THAT TRUMP WAS INTERFERING WITH THE ELECTION PROCESS BY ATTACKING HIS OPPONENT.
SHORT ANSWER, YES, THEY ARE SHIT SCARED OF FLYNN.
I think he has a gag order on him while in trial
Him as a person of interest in FBI and intelligence agencies is a foundation to justify their ultimate spying/targeting of Trump. If Flynn case falls through then so does their narrative/justification. Could compare to Bush and trying to prove WMDs as justification for occupying Middle East
Also I could be totally wrong about this but having the case open/ongoing may prevent him from speaking much publicly from a legal standpoint
