PLEASE READ! I KNOW THE PERSON THAT DUMPED THOSE. They are in fact ballots that have been opened. They are from the 2018 Governors race. Every envelope is opened by machine and a human removes the ballot. Then envelops are then double checked by someone to verify the ballot has been removed. The envelopes are being sent to the recycling. Actual ballots are kept even longer and shredded when it is allowed to dispose of them.

Why would they dump NOW, from 2018?

Why would they dump at all? Used embrlopes should be shredded on site.

I'm sure there is some election rule that envelopes need to be kept for X amount of time. Probably 22 months.
